The Chamber membership is invited to attend the annual New Teacher Breakfast Friday, August 13th, 7:30 am in the cafeteria at South Granville High School.
Granville Health System will again be the breakfast sponsor. Mark Hyde, chef at GHS, representing Morrison's will be catering --- a delicious and well-appointed event. The approximately 30 to 35 new teachers will have an opportunity to meet local government and elected officials, business owners and Chamber members. Also, Chamber President Linda Taylor will invite each new teacher to introduce themselves, giving their school assignment, institution from which they graduated, etc.
Gift bags are given to the new teachers, which consists of donated items from many local county businesses. We have been overwhelmed at the volume and assortment of incredible donations that have been made.
Granville Health System and the Chamber extend an invitation to all Chamber members to welcome these new teachers to our county and the school system. Please let us know by phone or email the number from your business who plan to attend.
The normal meeting time for the Chamber's Government Forum Committee is the second Friday of each month. This year, that date also happens to be the time for the annual New Teacher Breakfast, sponsored by the Chamber.
Accordingly, members of the Government Forum and any interested Chamber members are invited to attend the New Teacher Breakfast at South Granville High School, Friday, August 13th, 7:30 am.
