John Penn Citizen of the Year Nominations
2009 JOHN PENN CITIZEN AWARD
The 2009 John Penn Citizen Award is presented at the Granville County Chamber of Commerce annual banquet in January. We encourage members to nominate a citizen who has contributed and given outstanding service to Granville County.
This prestigious award, named for Granville County's signer of the Declaration of Independence, is presented at the Chamber's Annual Membership Banquet. The 2009 event will be held Monday, January 26 in the Civic Center at Vance-Granville Community College's Main Campus.
The Chamber's Recognition Committee will review the nominees and make a decision in early January. The Recognition Committee hopes to receive an exceptional number of nominations to consider. Please give careful consideration to candidates who would be worthy of this recognition and nominate them
