Due to the predicted inclement weather and sickness of the program presenter, the January Government Forum was cancelled.  We regret that members were unable to hear of the wonderful work that the Families Living Violence Free organization does.  Hopefully, it can be rescheduled.

We are planning to "travel" for Friday, February 12th's meeting to the Oxford Police Department.  The 8:00 am meeting will feature a presentation by Chief John Wolford about the new crime prevention program the department is implementing.

It would be a smart New Year's resolution to plan to attend monthly Government Forums.  They provide lots of information and knowledge about our county.  We hope to see you there!
