FEATURING: "THE CASTAWAYS"It will be a pleasure for the Chamber to host its 2nd event of the 2010 season in southern Granville County on Thursday, August 26, 5:30 'til 8:30 pm.
THE CASTAWAYS band will be entertaining attendees and are anxious to return to perform for Alive After Five. This popular beach music group has performed in Granville County previously and has a strong group of followers, known as "the Castanuts".
Please mark August 26th on your calendar and plan to enjoy a special evening. More details will be available in our August newsletter, as well as on the Chamber's website and posters.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED! We would appreciate assistance from 5 to 7 pm or 7 to 9 pm, checking ID's, adhering wristbands, selling beverage tickets and volunteering at the beverage wagon. Please check with co-workers and friends and consider volunteering just 2 hours. Our Chamber's Alive After Five events have been successful because of the wonderful volunteer spirit in Granville County. This event will be just the same. We hope to hear from many of you!
