Subject; Tourism Development Authority Annual Mini-Grant Program
The Granville County Tourism Development Authority (TDA) is pleased to announce the mini-grant program. This grant provides financial assistance to help eligible organizations promote activities which will attract tourists and visitors to Granville County. Those eligible agencies include: businesses, government agencies, civic clubs or non-profit organizations. Funds must be used to advertise or market an area or activity, publish and distribute pamphlets or other materials, or engage in similar promotional activities which attract tourists or business travelers to our county.
Funding is only designated for organizations which have by-laws, boards of directors, mission statements and regular meetings. All funding is to be used to promote Granville County.
Attached is a grant application. The maximum grant amount is $5,000.00. Applications must be received by January 4, 2010, 5:00 pm by Ginnie Currin, Executive Director, Granville County Chamber of Commerce/Tourism Development Authority. Contact our office at 919.693.6125, if you have questions.
Also attached is a copy of the project evaluation form that will be required for projects which are funded.
