School System
Granville County Schools are student-oriented, progressive and have a welcome and safe environment.
Granville County schools serve 8700 students and consistently perform well in all areas. Two high schools, three middle schools, one intermediate and eight elementary schools provide excellent educational opportunities for our children. The Granville County system performs well above the level of neighboring rural counties. The teacher turnover rate is also lower in Granville County than in other systems.
